At The Dawg House of Gulfport, dog daycare is designed to give your pup a safe, fun, and structured day of play, socialization, and enrichment.
Dogs are grouped by size and temperament to help ensure a comfortable and appropriate play environment for every guest. Our spacious indoor playrooms give dogs plenty of room to romp, interact, and enjoy supervised play throughout the day.
Our daycare guests also enjoy outdoor playtime in our two large playgrounds, with separate areas for small and larger dogs. These outdoor spaces give dogs the opportunity to run, climb, explore, and enjoy the equipment they love, all while being supervised by our kennel techs.
Our outdoor play areas were designed with purpose, safety, and cleanliness in mind. Since 2022, The Dawg House of Gulfport has used K9Grass by ForeverLawn — a professional-grade turf system designed and properly installed specifically for dog daycare and boarding facilities.
There is an important difference between turf that is simply dog safe and turf that is truly built for high-use dog daycare and boarding environments. Not all turf is created for the same purpose. While residential pet-friendly turf may be suitable for a backyard, commercial dog care facilities require a surface designed to handle heavy daily use, proper drainage, sanitation needs, and constant activity.
That is why our yard was professionally dug out, prepared, leveled, and installed with proper drainage and irrigation. This helps provide a cleaner, safer, and more comfortable outdoor play environment for the dogs in our care.
We believe pet parents should feel confident asking what type of turf is being used, how it was installed, and whether it was truly designed for high-use dog daycare and boarding facilities — not just marketed that way.
At The Dawg House of Gulfport, we are proud to provide a professionally built play area that has been trusted by local families since 2022.
Built for dogs. Installed professionally. Trusted for years.
To attend daycare, dogs must be current on the following vaccinations:
Rabies
Distemper
Bordetella
Dogs 8 months and older must be spayed or neutered. Puppies may begin attending daycare as young as 3 months old.
All new daycare dogs must complete a temperament test before joining group play. This evaluation is free of charge and helps us make sure each dog is placed in the safest and most appropriate group.
We have different options to choose from for daycare.
